Elissa Kleinhaus | Live Connected

Elissa Kleinhaus, LMSW

Elissa has provided support and guidance to hundreds of seniors, working as a

geriatric social worker in New York City since 2004.  She was a case manager for

homebound seniors at the Carter Burden Center for the Aging in Manhattan and, for

seven years, a senior social worker at DOROT, a New York-based social service

agency for older adults.  Trusted in the field, she also has expertise in benefits and

entitlement counseling, hospitals, and assisted living residences.  Elissa received her

Masters in Social Work at Columbia University School of Social Work and a BA from

Barnard College.

Katie Kluger, LMSW

Katie is a geriatric social worker in New York City and has worked with older adults 

since 2007. She worked for eight years at DOROT, a New York- based social service

agency for older adults living in the community, first as a synagogue outreach social

worker and then as a senior case assistance social worker.  A leader in the profession

and known for simplifying the complex for her clients, she also has expertise in

long-term care facilities, hospice care, and caregiver support.  She is a certified

Information and Referral Specialist in the field of aging.  Katie received her Masters in

Social Work from Fordham University School of Social Service and her BA from the

University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Holly Zinn, LCSW

Holly has been working with older adults for over 15 years. She is passionate about helping them stay independent, safely and with dignity. Holly started her career with older adults at the Isaac H. Tuttle Fund, a private foundation that provides direct financial support to individuals and community-based organizations. For the last 12 years she has been working at Lincoln House Outreach, a Naturally Occurring Retirement Community on Manhattan’s Upper West Side where she has been in the Director role since 2017. Holly received her BA from Ithaca College and her Masters in Social Work from New York University's Silver School of Social Work.

Sarah Rossen, LMSW

Sarah has been a geriatric social worker since 2018. She has experience working with older adults in a variety of settings including assisted living facilities, hospitals, and home care agencies. In addition to being a licensed social worker, Sarah is a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and Certified Dementia  Practitioner (CDP). She is passionate about working with older adults and helping them age with dignity. Sarah received her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University and her BA from Yeshiva University.
